Because less players equal more space to pass and move

BALOTELLI WILL REACT

Manchester city striker Mario Balotelli has said that he would not think twice when it comes to killing anyone who racially abuses him at the Euro 2012. Mario Balotelli will be travelling with the Italian squad for the Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

Both countries have a history of racism, which has been highlighted by the British media. A number of black players currently playing in the UK will be travelling to Poland and Ukraine to play in the Euro 2012. Mario Balotelli is among them, but the Italian striker admitted that he would not be willing to tolerate any kind of racism.

This would not be the first time the 21-year-old would be subjected to racism based on skin colour. He has experienced the same while he was playing for Inter Milan, while he was most recently subjected to racism when Manchester City were playing FC Porto in the Europa league. Throwing bananas has become quite a common sign of racism.

Mario Balotelli has admitted that he would not think twice about spending the rest of his life in jail if anyone abuses him racially. Former England defender Sol Campbell has come out and said that England fans should not be travelling to Poland and Ukraine due to the racist problems that are out of control.

"I will not accept racism at all. It's unacceptable. If someone throws a banana at me in the street, I will go to jail, because I will kill them. It was lucky that the police arrived quickly because, I swear, I would have beaten them. I would have really destroyed them. I hope it never happens again. Let's see what happens at the Euros. I hope it will pass without a problem," said Mario Balotelli when asked about the racism problem at the Euro 2012 at a Manchester City press conference.
